Smart Columbus
As the winner of the U.S. Department of Transportation's (USDOT) first-ever Smart City Challenge, Columbus was awarded $50 million in grant funding and the designation as America's Smart City. Before they embraced the reinvention of transportation to accelerate human progress, they needed a brand and a home.
We created a brand, a voice and designed the interior of their home on Marconi Blvd, complete with interactive videos, local stories and a touch-table that allowed for in-depth understanding of their ongoing projects.
To even win the grant in the first place, the organization needed to convince congress that Columbus was the place to invest. I wrote a video that was shared as part of the presentation to help Columbus secure the win as America’s Smart City.
